Rickmansworth Festival Weekend 2014 – 17th/18th May Reminder, if you are able to spare some time and help your Club next weekend, whether it be for the whole weekend or a few hours on either Saturday or Sunday, please get in touch with Maria secretary@nomadkayakclub.co.uk and let her know how and when you are available to help. Wednesday Evening Recreational Sessions From this week, the ‘on the water’ start time of Wednesday sessions will be 18:30. If you’re planning on coming down to a Wednesday evening session please arrive at least 15 minutes before hand to get changed and get equipment out of the container.

Mid Week Evening Recreational Sessions

Mid week evening recreational sessions will restart next Wednesday (16th April) at 6pm until 7.30pm. Please arrive shortly before 6pm, as until 30th April the Aquadrome gates are locked at 6pm (we have gate keys to let everyone out at the end of the sessions!) As of 1st May the gates will be locked at the later time of 9.30pm, so there may be the opportunity to start the evening sessions later than 6pm so that as many members as possible can attend. Let me know your thoughts on changes to the session start time. Regards, Mike Ps: I'll be coming straight from work so will arrive as close to 6pm as traffic on the M4 and M25 allows!

Forthcoming Trips We have two trips coming up in partnership with the Spelthorne Kayak & Canoe Club: Saturday, 8 March 2014 - Ivel Trip, meet at 09:30 at the put in This is open to all who can paddle 3-4 hours and would like an introduction to shooting small weirs or practice some moving water skills in a faster flowing environment.
