Rickmansworth Festival 2012 – a big thank you
On behalf of the NKC committee, may i thank everyone who contributed to a successful Rickmansworth Festival 2012. Across the two full days of festival action we ran numerous 'come and try it' sessions along with canoeing demonstrations, we raised our profile and made contact with many potential new members. The event is very important to our club, we need to grow and the Rickmansworth Festival is great way to engage the general public. I attended both days and was very pleased to see many club members: new members, long term members, relatives of members, everyone pulled together to make it a fun and successful event.
