Abbey Stream – Sunday 13th December 2015
A 5 mile circular paddle up the Thames and down a narrow side stream from Laleham near Staines. 3 hours plus lunch stop.
There is a full trip description here.
Suitable for strong 1* plus paddlers only, as there are a couple of miles against the Thames and there will probably be weeds to battle through in places in the Abbey Stream.
Meet: 10am on Sunday 13th at Laleham Ferry Lane second car park (past the campsite; nearest postcode is TW18 1SS).
Wear warm clothes appropriate to December paddling and bring a packed lunch and a hot drink.
Equipment: Club boats and equipment can be hired for £5 per day paddled and will need to be collected prior to departure by arrangement with the equipment officer (email@example.com).
Please email Matt with any other questions and let him know if you want to come along at firstname.lastname@example.org
January and February trips:
There is a possibility of a mid Wales trip to the upper/mid Wye and/or Usk on 16/17th or 23/24th January if there is enough interest. Please let Matt know if you may be interested.
Nick should be leading another trip to the Dart in February. The date for this will be confirmed as soon as it is know.
