River Wye & Symonds Yat Sat/Sun 19th-20th September

DETAILS:
Nigel will be leading a trip paddling the picturesque River Wye to Symonds Yat on the third weekend of September. Symonds Yat is a great place for a gentle introduction to whitewater for all skill levels and equally good if you like flat water trips and beautiful scenery – we’ll be doing both! The weekend is suitable for members between paddle start/discover level and above and can be a great family weekend away with Goodrich Castle and walking in the Forest of Dean both within a mile.
If you’re coming for both days, please arrange your own accommodation at River Wye Caravan and Camping Park, the Royal Lodge, the Saracen’s Head Inn or one of the many B&Bs in the area. Alternatively you can come down just for the day on either day.
Nigel has booked into the Royal Lodge Symonds Yat East.
This is a two day trip taking place on Saturday/Sunday 18th-19th September. Drive time is about 2.5 - 3 hours from Rickmansworth.
