River Tees 8th-9th November

Nick and I plan to paddle the Tees over the weekend of 8th-9th November along with some paddlers from ICC , and are happy to lead paddlers who are competent on grade 2+/3 water.
The start is below the the uncanoeable seventy foot (twenty one meters for those born after 1971) waterfall High Force. The run from High Force down to Low Force is mainly Grade2/3 with dogleg (or Salmon) Falls and Low force being grade 4. All sections can be easily portaged and inspected with a path down river right hence the requirement for only grade 2+/3 competency.
The sections from below Low Force to Middleton-in-Teesdale and Middleton-in-Teesdale to Barnard Castle offer some interesting paddling and a couple of weirs to be approached with caution.
The river is prone to being in flood or too little water and dynamic decision on what and whether to paddle will be made over the weekend. We will be located in Middleton-in-Teesdale.
