3rd - 8th November Just a quick note to say that the Aquadrome Bridge is closed to cars for maintenance this week. Works are due to be complete by next week but there is a chance that it will take longer. Club members will have to park elsewhere and walk in on Wednesday. We will let you know if there are any updates.

Novice & Beginners Polo Training We are hosting polo training for novices and beginners every Saturday in October between 9am and 10.30am. You will need your usual change of clothes. Free for members of Nomads, the non-members charge is £5 a session. Novice & Beginners Polo League Do you want to play polo in competition with others of a similar ability, if so the Development League could be for you? Our first friendly tournament will be held in the aquadrome immediately after warm up training on Saturday 4th October and you are welcome to come along and watch or play. As of 1st October the Aquadrome car park closes daily at 6pm; this coupled with coach availability and ever decreasing daylight means that this Wednesday (24th September) will be the last mid-week recreational session of the year. Over the last 5 months, Wednesday evening recreational sessions have run continuously. Thanks to all members who attended the sessions particularly the coaches/experienced paddlers who ran/supervised the sessions. Mid-week sessions will restart again in April/May next year. Sunday recreational sessions (10am till 12pm) will continue as normal throughout the winter months.

Our club is hiring out our polo facilities for league tournaments the first of which takes place on Saturday 20th September. For us to prepare the site there are a few remaining tasks to complete, these include creating a concete landing stage, goose fencing and perimter fencing and we shall also be making some alterations to the pitch size and hope to re-position the scaffold goal. To complete this work we require help from the members and we have organised the work to take place over the next three weekends. Sunday 31st August - Concreting the new landing stage and installing a goose "Keep out" fence. Saturday 6th September - Bund works and perimeter fencing. Sunday 7th September - Bund works including creating a site entrance and Prune overhanging branches.…
